History of CRM work at ISUAL
Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, ISUAL continued archaeological
research under major contracts with the National Park Service,
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other federal and state
agencies, as well as local governments and numerous private
businesses and agencies. Work was focused primarily on the Saylorville
Reservoir in the central Des Moines Valley.
Recently, ISUAL has conducted both field and laboratory research
under contract with such agencies as Engineering Plus Inc.,
Manatts, Inc., the U.S. Postal Service, the General Services
Administration, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the
Iowa National Guard.
